My Biography
I am currently a second-year M.Sc. student at the University of Tehran, continuing my research in the same field that first inspired me during my undergraduate studies — biomaterials and biomedical engineering. My academic journey, which began at Sharif University of Technology, provided me with a solid foundation in materials science and engineering as well as invaluable opportunities for growth, teamwork, and leadership. During my undergraduate years, I actively participated in the Scientific Association of the Faculty of Materials Engineering, organizing seminars, industrial visits, and academic workshops. This engagement helped me build strong communication skills and a vibrant network of peers and mentors.
In recognition of my dedication, I was honored as the Best Active Member of the Faculty of Materials Engineering in 2021. I also served on the editorial board of the faculty publication, where I contributed to a variety of topics and developed a keen appreciation for teamwork and scientific communication. My undergraduate research, focused on controlled drug release using PLGA-based systems, sparked a deep and lasting passion for biological and medical materials — a passion that continues to guide my current graduate studies in wound healing and drug delivery.
Now, as part of a much larger academic and research community at the University of Tehran, I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with experts and participate in specialized seminars and scientific gatherings related to my research interests. I still consider myself the same extroverted person who enjoys meaningful discussions, academic events, and connecting with others in my field. Outside the lab, running is one of my favorite hobbies — it keeps me energized and grounded. And of course, as anyone who knows me would agree, I’m never too far from a good cup of tea. ☕
